Biography
I completed my BS in Applied Mathematics at the University of Colorado in 2014 and my PhD in Applied Mathematics at the University of Washington in 2020. My doctoral research focused on the stability of solutions to partial differential equations and the analytical methods used to study stability. After graduating, I remained at UW as an Acting Instructor, where my work shifted more toward spectral theory.
My primary focus now is teaching. I began teaching in the UW Department of Applied Mathematics in 2017 as a PhD student and continued as an Acting Instructor from 2020 to 2023. In 2024 I taught in the Math Department at Green River College, and in 2025 I returned to UW Applied Mathematics as an Assistant Teaching Professor. I am passionate about making mathematics accessible and engaging for all learners and am excited to continue fostering that in my teaching and mentoring.
