Amath students awarded 2017 graduate fellowships

Students Robert Baraldi and Matthew Farrell have recently been awarded National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowships. The Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students who are pursuing research-based master’s and doctoral degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) or in STEM education. Robert has also been awarded the Department of Energy Computational Science Graduate Fellowship (DOE CSGF). The DOE CSGF provides outstanding benefits and opportunities to students pursuing doctoral degrees in fields that use high-performance computing to solve complex science and engineering problems.
