Congratulations to UW Amath PhD student Tyler Chen, who has recently been awarded a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. The Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students who are pursuing research-based master’s and doctoral degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) or in STEM education.
This brings the number of current UW Amath graduate students with external fellowships to 9.
