UW Applied Mathematics assistant professor Eli Shlizerman and fellow UW researchers created a framework to visualize and interact with a model of the C. elegans neuronal network in real-time.
Their work was published as Neural Interactome: Interactive Simulation of a Neuronal System in Frontiers in Computational Neuroscience in March. A spotlight by Electrical & Computer Engineering on this work can be read here.
