Assistant Professor Eli Shlizerman recently led a team of University of Washington researchers in developing Audeo, which uses artificial intelligence (AI) to generate music from silent video recordings of pianists' hands. They presented their research at the NeurIPS 2020 conference, and their work was highlighted by a UW News article. On April 9 Eli was interviewed by Science Friday about Audeo. The interview is now available on the Science Friday podcast and their website.
