Submitted by Ingrid Richter on

KIRO 7 News recently reported on a New model shows what a 9.2 magnitude Alaska quake could mean for Puget Sound.

This is based off of the Washington State Geology News Article: How would a tsunami from an Alaska earthquake impact the Washington coast, featuring a new publication by Emeritus Professors Randall J. LeVeque and Loyce M. Adams, and collaborators, that models tsunami inundation from an Mw 9.2 Alaska-Aleutian subduction zone earthquake.
