Dr. Amin Rahman's work involves formulating mechanistic models that agree with experiments of real world systems and analyzing them via rigorous mathematics.  Through his expertise in mathematical modeling and analysis via numerical computations, dynamical systems theory, asymptotic methods, and bifurcation theory, his research program's recent foci have been in the areas of Damped-driven phenomena, Physics-inspired models in Life Science, and Computational Fluid Dynamics.
